thanks Bob and Marco

for hooking us up with the recovery file for Dave's truck. It made a HUGE difference in how the truck has been running.

No this was a guy that bought a used truck and has gotten horrible fuel mileage since the day he bought it. He was on the verge of letting the truck go because he was so upset with the 10 MPG he got while running empty. Upon checking the ECM code we found it was a Brazillian coded program in the ECM. Bob and Marco hooked us up with the recovery file to restore it. Now he says the truck doesn't even run the same, it runs 100% better and he is going to log the fuel mileage difference. Funny thing is the truck was sold to him like that

Bob, the Smarty for our '05 has really been worth the (IT-challenge induced) wait! The higher SW#s transform the truck from "cool" to "wicked"...

We're sure looking forward to the new version that makes more power & less smoke while increasing fuel economy and tire life!!!

XLR8R:

I agree with what you have already said. Since I put the Smarty "Wild" on my 2006, the truck is a totally different animal! I am still amazed at how the Smarty really gave the truck back all my "bottom-end" power that I seemed to have lost when I added my Schwitzer 62/12 Turbo.

Thanks alot to Marco and Bob for a great product!

Ya jwb600 that was my first time as you can see the first coupled sucked and the best ones the digital camera batteries went dead. It went 8.3's after that with no boosted launch. Not to bad for a hand shaker.

Would this possibly work if your ecm was screwed up from a downloader. Is recovery available. All I have heard so far is that a new ecm would have to be purchased.
