Torque management question - Smarty jr
Hi everyone,
With the smarty jr revo update allowing us to alter the TQM, I would like to know a little more about the TQM. Basically, what I understand is that the TQM defuels to prevent exceissve torque at low rpms and speed and also possibly during shifts to prevent wear on the driveline. Now that big question:
For stock torque management, does anyone know at what RPM's/speeds the TQM is active???
Basically, I am wondering if stock tqm can help protect your driveline if you mash the gas when you have the the converted locked with low rpms (like around 50mph in a stock truck) so that you could tune a higher level of hp more safely. It wont help if the TQM has a max speed at which it is active I am guessing.
