I posted a poll over in the engine and trans forum because I wanted to see how many of us have actually had the WIF light come on in our trucks. I have never seen the WIF light come on in 98500 miles of owning this truck.

I see your point about how much better the stock canister is rated, but for me and buying from a good station have never come across a need for the WIF light. So for me and this is just my opinion I do not see a need to run the stock canister.

Anyone have a problem w/ leaks out of the stock fuel canister housing ( top lid) w/ the AD or FASS hooked straight to it w/o the filter (stock filter) inside?

I just took out the stock filter and have been running it for two days with no leaking out of the lid of the canister. I did order the delete tubing for the removal of the canister so when I get that I will be in no hurry to remove it because it seems to be doing fine with out the filter. When I instal my stage 3 cp3 or the twin cps kit I will remove it then. I might be wrong but it seems that I was loosing RP ever so slightly when under WOT for a long period of time but since the filter is gone I maintain RP with no lose under the same conditions. Checked it twice and same results.

Ok, cool...I was thinking w/o the filter in the canister that more fuel will fill up w/o the filter in there. May cause it to leak out of the lid if it got too full (if it's such happenings).
