Talked to dusty today!

Well i guess im about to bite the bullet and rebuild my trans i have been having a hard time deciding between goerends and HTS. i called and talked to dusty this morning on the way home from work (3rd shift YUCK!) and he emailed me two quotes one with him building it and one with me doing all the work. i believe i am going to build it myself he said i wouldnt have a warranty on the trans itself if i did it that way but a warranty wouldnt do me a whole lot of good if i had to park the truck for a week or so and ship him the trans and wait to get it back. i am going with a billet input torque converter full race VB red eagle clutches and kolene steels with updated annulus 4.2 lever accumulator and servos and everything else he does to them himself only i will be doing it. luckily i have been blessed with a shop full of tools to get the job done including a press. so i shouldnt have too much trouble but WISH ME LUCK!

You love it... I drove a stock auto a couple days ago and it's amazing what it feels like compared to a built auto.

There are pictures of some of the tools that you will need in my gallery. The setup tolerances will be critical, so ask Dusty where he deviates from Chrysler. When are you going to do this? PM me about the Service manual section on this.

I bought them from Chrysler Miller/SPX. Do not buy the alignment tool. Build the OD section first and use the intermediate shaft to align everthing. No blue prints but I can measure anything you would like.
