How many of the original beta testers still have & use the FireFly? I know a couple said they were going to send it back! I still have mine, but with the weather here in NE Ohio, haven't been able to test too much.
I see on the Superchips Website it is for sale to the public for $650. I'm thinking that is a TAD STEEP for what you get!! I can't say it's not worth what I paid for it, but at $650 I would be a little UNDERWHELMED!
What do you beta testers think?

 

I like the power but I'll probably send it back or sell mine to get something else (Edge). I want a little more in the options department.

I used mine on a trip this weekend towing my TT and saw some high EGTs on level 2. I switched back to level 1 and was not real impressed with the fuel mileage. Fighting a good stiff head wind on the way down I got 7.9 mpg. On the way back with minimal wind I got 11.8 mpg hand calculated.

 

I sent mine back and got a refund. Tried it one time in the truck and was not impressed at all especially compared to my quad race. The power just wasn't there. Didn't tow with it so can't comment on towing . Another reason I sent it back is b/c I didn't want to mount it on top of the steering wheel.

 

Well, I think I'm going to keep mine. I have been researching and as said in the previous threads, it is a dead ringer for the EDGE EZ. Although the FireFly comes with the EGT & Boost Gauge. It is faster than stock, but don't think it's worth anywhere near $650! Of course I don't think the EDGE EZ is worth $500.
The ONLY PROBLEM is both EDGE & SUPERCHIPS swear it is undetectable after being taken off! But I have heard THAT story before. And would sure hate to void my factory warranty. Not sure how willing I am to chance it!

 

If its like the edge ez it probably is undetectable.

 

It is the Edge EZ with a cool touchscreen gauge and user selectable parameters for defueling. Its a nice setup but could benefit from higher power levels.
