I am looking at a stock elbow off a 04 305hp engine. It measures 3 3/4" inside both inlet and outlet. Is this the one that is used on even the 325hp trucks like the 06? Mine is a 03 with the 250 hp engine and I wanted to upgrade the exhaust, just wondered if this is what I need.

 

I have read that the one for my 03 is 4" in and 3 1/2" out. But does this one that is 4" in/out hook up to my turbo with no mods or is there some newer style clamp/pipe?

You can use the same turbo outlet/elbow inlet clamp(if you can get it off w/o damage), but you need the newer 04.5-06 exhaust downpipe clamp. There is 1/2" difference in the outlet of the two elbows. I have an 05 elbow on mine w/ the 04.5-06 Magnaflow 5" system. Also, it is a major PIA to pull the old elbow clamps off, make sure you get new clamps and just use a heavy duty screwdriver to pry off the old clamps off, they are easily damaged if they are on as tight as mine were.
