We're almost neighbors. I live in Bluffdale.

What temps are you running on tow mode vs performance?

Are you running a stock turbo?

would anyone be willing to put some video clips of their pyro hitting 1700 and the RP reading? not trying to stir the pot, but i think if some people would see the video proof, it will put it to rest. plus im curious. im also wondering if my isspro is reading low and thats why im not seeing the same as youll

thanks

I ran the SCMT on my 04 6.0 and had no complaints.. EGT's never went above 1300, but that was in my FORD. I have not yet added a tuner to my truck. I am enjoying the stock reliability of my new truck. However i am starting to get the itch. I have been researching performance chips and am interseted in the SC. CAN ANYONE back up claims of high EGT's and increased rail pres. I am not defending SC: only like to get more informed before I purchase. If Marco or anyone that has the facts on test data please let us know. Maybe Vic Ferrari can chime in if he still lurks around here?????

air temp 70ish, humidity 100% level ground. mashed the motor to the speed limiter (108) and it never went above 1350. WOT up a grade i have hit the high 1300s but thats it. i do believe my rev limiter is higher than stock btw. i dont have a RP gauge so i dont have any evidence. i like my SC and think its a great product, it definately has its flaw like everything else. SC is working on a custom tuner also that i think they said will be out about the first of the year so that would be nice. it seems other people are having different results and maybe its cause of differences in gauges and altitude???

Fuel pressure readings on a stock '06 with the Superchips Flashpaq:

Stock
Idle 5.8k
1500RPM 8.2k
2000RPM 13k
2500RPM 16k
3000RPM 20k
WOT RUN 23k

Tow
Idle 6.4k
1500RPM 8.6k
2000RPM 14k
2500RPM 17k
3000RPM 21k
WOT RUN 23k

Performance
Idle 6.4k
1500RPM 8.6k
2000RPM 15k
2500RPM 17k
3000RPM 21k
WOT RUN 23k

All readings were taken with zero load in the driveway except for the WOT runs. As you can see the Flashpaq in its current state adds very little fuel pressure.

Empty I can hit 1350, but pulling my 5th wheel or my enclosed trailer going up highway 6 towards price no problem to bury 1500*. I'm running stock turbo but thinking of calling HTT do you think that will help me pulling? I hate pulling up a hill and having half throttle and having to back out of it .

I have read that the boost fooler will help lower egt's, but SC DOES NOT recommend using it with their product. Does anyone run a boost fooler with the Flashpaq and if so what egt's are you seeing?
BTW I ordered one (3805) and cannot use it yet because it keeps saying it needs to be updated (right out of the box) Got on the website and did everything I could do, sent in a ticket, swapped a few emails with TS, but I am still looking at my tuner sitting on the table......
3-5 days before my email arrives with updates? After spending 450.00? WOW.
One would think that it would at least be useable out of the packaging....Live and learn I guess. It's an 06 2wd with nothing but a straight pipe kit and a boost fooler that I took off today.

SC does not recommend using it with their product. I asked the same question and that is the response I got, no explanation as to why though, I do not think the SC flashpaq has boost fooling capability built in....

I am running this. EGT's dropped and it feels good. Boost quickly goes to 42 and stops. You can hear the turbo much more. I am dying to tow the trailer with it to see what the EGT's are doing.
