Super B vs SPS 62

How do these turbos compare. BD says up to 425hp but that seems low. I can get a good deal on a BD or do the pdw sell on a sps 62. what do you guys think.

The super B special would be more comparable to the SPS 62. I could not find the specs on the b series turbos but the SPS is 62-71-14. I would imagine the super b is a 62-65-12. PDW for sure sells the SPS62 or you could go 1 step further and get the silver 62 from II. It flows even more exhaust than the SPS 62.

The super b is like a 59 mm turbo. The Super b special is a 64/71/14. I would go with a SPS 62 over a super b. The super b special can support some good power. That's what was on my truck for a while. The turbo didn't like how much fuel i was feeding it though..... Too much drive pressure and lifting the head.

Actually, the Super B has a 57mm compressor inducer which is smaller than 04.5+ turbos and slightly bigger than 03-04 turbos. It does, however, have a larger exhaust side that flows more and has a larger wastegate. I wouldn't put a super B on my truck unless it was in BD's sweet twin setup.

I agree ^^^^ I would use a Super B only if I wanted no more than 450hp.
