suggestions???????

ok guys i took the leap and im gonna geterdone..i think anyway lol. ok i got an o6 dodge dually built 48re with a smarty on it . set on the tnt file it runs just a little better than my bully 140 hp setting? plus it keeps throwing p0008 i think it is fuel rail pressure too high. so i turned it back down.the reason i keep getting the code the tech at the diesel shop said its sending all that fuel to the rail and the inj cant do anything with it? im trying to learn so please be patient. he said to get the full potential with he smarty i need an air dog and some inj or nozzles which i plan on doing anyway . but im going to add a turbo too,he mentioned a turbo called a bumble bee? anyone running one. i guess my question is what would be the best quality inj nozzles and turbo that i can run . i want to run at least 100 or 90 hp nozzles as far as turbo i have no clue i want the whole setup to be somewhat reliable if thats possable? and would like something that will really make it move! thanks in advance guys!! the truck has 94000 miles on it .dont know if that matters for running nozzles?

Well it will depend on how deep you pockets are.

Only 2 sets of injectors I would consider, DDP (dynomite diesel performance) or F1 injectors. You can get 50-200+ hp stix through either.

Turbo, you will more than likely be advised to do twins, like the stocker/s400 kit by MPI performance www.maximizedperformanceinc.com or of similar size, its good for 600-700hp with good manners. The single you mentioned is probably the Super B special by BD, it is a single that would be suited for your use as well. You will have to consider how much turbo lag and smoke you can handle before you decide what size you want to go with. Do some research on here, you will find mucho informacion lol

For its size it is a fairly quick spooler, but compared to stock it will be a little slower. It is a 64/71-14 size turbo. The top end will scream. The Super B Special can hold about 50psi, 45 is a comfort spot for it.

One thing I will stress to you so nothing nips me in the butt is not everyones idea of turbo lag is the same, some ppl are more accepting to the fact that a larger turbo WILL NOT spool quicker than stock, and some ppl expect quantum leaps out of one. It will be slower to spool, but with the right mods like you are planning it will certainly be manageable IMO. What you should see is much better egt management.

Only one I know that is remotely close would be a Garrett. Do some research on that they are not cheap and they are water cooled, needing to be tapped into the radiator flow, and they use a different flange (T4) to mount the turbo. But it is the turbo that makes ppl happy (those who spend the money)

My next best thing would be a 62/65-13 ss, a quick spooler (not stock turbo quick, but pretty close) but more up to the task.

Twins will have you wanting nothing else but twins again.
