Straight Pipe/Intake
I was recently told by someone that if I put a muffler delete pipe on my truck, it will affect the backpressure an I would also have to put an intake on it. I thought about getting a quadzilla anyway, but is there any truth to that? I don't know much about diesels so I'd appreciate the help. Also, will the intake void the motor or drivetrain warranty?

I have the muffler delete from RPM.
I get compliments daily as to how good the truck sounds, it will lower your EGT's.
I do not do much hauling and have felt no change in power at all.
If you can keep your foot off the skinny pedal, it doesen't hurt the fuel economy either.
It just sounds that good!!!

Look...
The turbo takes care of backpressure for the valves...
No need for anymore backpressure than that. If you want to argue with me, then pm me, and I will explain my point. Agree or disagree, that is your opion, and you are entitled to it...
The more exaust that you can get out faster is better...
The more air that you can get in, the better, cause you need O2 in order to burn stuff...
As for the intake, ask the service manager. Mine told me that if I ran a K&N, he would not honor so much as a blown out bulb. After that, he did not care.
