stock muffler removal?
stock muffler removal?
anybody out there have any tip on removing the stock mufler? im talkin about just the muffler...i got the muffler eliminator and man... that thing is a beast to get off! thanks for the help
I cut several slits with a grinder on the flanges, then bent them back away from the other pipes. It is a pain to expand otherwise. You can heat the flanges with a torch and rock back and forth to get past the clamp crimp too. That seemed like too much hastle. You can always re-install the muffler after cutting the slits if you decided to put it back on. Just cut slightly past the clamp crimps so the metal will move out and free the crimps.
