will stacks make more power than 5 inch exhaust ? or is this all for looks

Mainly for looks, but mostly for sound....they won't hurt power. Mine have helped with spoolup and keeping egts steady...

They also redirect the smoke outta that punk kids window with the rap music. So I guess not all the points about stacks are good.

i have the out of the rear side exhaust, ide rather hae it on my bumper than all over my tailgate, cant be good for the paint!

stacks are pretty cool but everyone I know that has them seems to take them back out. I like to run my truck thru the carwash, I dont have much time to wash it by hand so I cant run stacks. I agree with the other guy. I would rather wash it off the bed and the bumper than off the whole bed

I've had stacks on 4 trucks now, 5 years and counting, my next one will have them too. Up here in illinois you dont have to worry about washing your truck, its snowing, raining, or road working all year long.

But it directs it straight to the tailgaters. the soot that comes out onto the bed cleans up alot easier than cleaning the bumper...was more concentrated there. I still haul my atvs in the back and otherwise do everything I've done before having the stacks. I have no complaints. As I've said before, I will eventually put a donaldson on it...
