Well, I got off the dime and bought the Triple Dog. Wow, very impressed! Although, this is a pitaful story - I downloaded it and ran around for a bit and it was nice in Tow/Economy... tho, I wanted more, so I clicked up to Performance and didnt really notice any gain So I came home and showed my neighbors the new toy and took them for a ride... Well, I got on it and smoked alittle. So I said, put her in Extreme and lets see what she will do. Nothing more! What the heck?? Then my friend goes "it says hit Y to confirm" Holy cow - in performance, she puffed a hugh ball into the sky upon launch!!!! And in extreme - I hit 100 with a quickness She HAULS ace! Very pleased, tho my tires, tranny and turbo arent liking any of the upper settings what whimps!

 

Nice I love my BDDL it smokes just enough for me sometime I wish it would smoke more but oh well

 

Start saving some $$$ for all the other upgrades needed to run on extreme. You know as well as I do that that's where you're gonna want to keep it...

save up $ and run er' till she brakes....then buy new. simple as 1...2....3.....right. how much diff. is it between the xzt?

 

tow is comprable.
performance is quite a bit more! - lots of smoke and deeper into the seat
extreme is hellacious on the tranny and wants to run real hard! - easily twice the XZT's seat of the pants feel.

 

Well, just wait till you stack, and when you have everything turned up, you will barely get on the throttle, and the smoke won't blow out everywhere, it will just roll out real thick. Now that is when you know someone has some power potential. Just ask me how I know

 

There is no next event planned right now. I'm sure there will be a Va Chapter 7 Shootout sometime soon though...

Seriously though, a new trans is a lot of $$$ so play carefully....

be careful man.....I knew i would be just like you....so i wouldn't buy any module or programmer until i had the DTT and FASS installed.....my truck is over-built for the power, but it shouldn't break though....and you can bet i beat the heck out of it....it goes to the drag strip too.

once one thing goes in the tranny, it can cause lots more things to go as a result of the original mishap. save up the $, do the tranny asap. then its no worries...which is much more fun
