South Bend Clutch ....Outstanding customer service

Emailed Peter from SBC. Could not reach him, he was out of the office. He called after returning, and we talked about the problem I had with my clutch. SBC is standing behind their product 100%. Fantastick customer service. Will recommend them highly. Sorry I jumped the gun. I should be more patient next time.

Thanks for the follow up and giving SBC the benefit of the doubt. You should finish of your other thread with the results of your experience with Peter.

it was rated 550 hp. i tried to smoke my tires a little and after that i couldn't shift anymore. i am not a mechanic so i am not sure what happened. my truck makes barely 400hp so i knew something was not right. so i emailed peter from south bend clutch and he emailed me back to call him. i did that and gave him the number of the diesel shop that works on my trucks. joe from the shop calls me back and says southbend clutch(peter) is replacing the clutch for free. the clutch only had maybe 12000 miles on it with no hauling(my 2006 is hauling the trailer). but like i said i am not a mechanic and don't know what happened to the clutch, i just know that they stand 110% behind there product. i will buy from them again! NO DOUBT!!!

X2. Usually when I hear a 'bad report' about Southbend and Peter, I consider the source....

Peter is just all around good people in my book.

Well after talking with Joe at Underwood tire (awesome company by the way) he said they had to use a hammer and chisel to break the clutch apart. Joe kinda chuckled and said Chris was trying to break in his new tires the hard way. OUCH, flywheel and everything was toast. Chris, glad you got her up and running again but if you want to play like that, PLEASE think twice or get a clutch designed for that. LOL
