Thumbs up Some thoughts on my exhaust brake

well i finally got my exhaust brake done in my truck and and i very pleased to say the least .. i went with a Pacbrake prxb and all i can say is wow!! no need for brakes anymore i tell you anyway i talked to the guys from Pacbrake at a local r.v. show they were at and they where looking for a guinea pig for there new Pacbrake lock up controller .. so i was glad to help .. i took my truck down to Pacbrake in Surrey B.C. the next day and they had wires and computers hooked up to it too see if all was good with the 04.5 so all seemed good so they went ahead with the install .. the guys were great and they did an awesome job of hooking everything up .. anyway there is pics of the install in my photo gallery for all to have a look up ...

two thumbs up for Pacbrake !! thanks T.j , Chris and Harold for all your help and great service

Gary

just for the record i am no way affiliated with Pacbrake .. just though i would give them a good word because of there friendly good service.

Good deal!

So it works pretty well with the auto? Tested it out with a trailer yet, or just cruising around town?

I have had my PacBrake for 2 years now and love it. Works great when I have my boat hooked up as well as with my plow and snow stuff in the bed. I have almost 62k on my truck and still on the original brake parts.

i had my tandem axle car trailer on there last weekend with two quads and a bike .. so about 4000# and it works absolutely flawless.. it will actually slow you down going down a pretty substantial grade ..
