COLD START-UP??? LOL. I forgot too plug my truck in the other night and it was -40, other than the batteries complaining it was a nice smooth start, actually fired on the first revolution!!! Cycled the grid heaters twice before turning it over!!

o ya if u let it cycle a couple times if you forget to plug them in it makes a world of difference

If you have a smarty it will automatically enable the high idle also. turn cruise on, press set and it should go to 1100. Then use accel to move up to 15-1600....

Yes,

place truck in P or N with the e brake on. Turn on cruise. Press SET. Engine should increase to 1100. Use accel to increase or decel to decrease. Press brake to disengage.

I tired it, it only goes up to 1500rpm, when should I use this or how much should I go up to?

WOA!!!!

LOL...you are fine, anything over 1150 is good to idle at (i have been told) anything higher than that is intended for use on work trucks running external devices that require tons of power or a possible air pump running off the drive belt.

So another words, if I need to let me truck idle for longer than like 5 min or somthing, just use the cruise control and set it to like 1000prm?

The min high idle should be fine i am told....anything over 1000 is a good high idle to prevent diesel wash
