Snow Stage 3 Water Meth kit

has anyone used this system???? How well does it work when towing? How much juice does it go through on average per mile? Is that 8 Gal tank enough or should I just get a 25 gal fuel cell and use that.

Dude, with all the bombing parts you have been asking about lately, you must have gotten one FAT tax refund!

That does look like a good list and should do you proud. Definitely upgrade to the Quad Race.

The Snow Stage 3 is kind of new and I don’t know much about it, but given the quality of their Stage 2 kit, which I have, I would think it will be a nice addition, and keep close to all 500HP useable when towing. W/M can lower EGTs a lot in addition to making more power. If you want to use it for every day driving and towing, go big with the tank. The little tank that comes with it gets me 2 passes down the 1/4 mile. That's it. Others that use it for towing can give you a better idea.

With your injectors, SPS62, Quad Race, and water/meth, I bet it will dyno closer to 550HP. I have seen a truck in that same configuration do 505hp without water/meth.

Water/meth takes time to work. To get the power it is making for you show up on the dyno, I would set the 1st stage to come in at 10 lbs of boost or less (whatever you can get away with without pinging), the 2nd right after (sooner the better), same with the 3rd, and try to load the turbo to get the meth going at the same instant the run starts. If not, the run will be over before the water/meth kicks in good. A good 50/50 mix will make 75hp.

This time of year I have no life. If you were stuck in this winter wasteland for 8 months out of the year , you would probably spend a lot more time here than you should too. Spend enough time here and regardless how clueless you are, you are bound to learn a thing or two….that would be me.

Any time you can learn about trucks instead of being board is time well spent. I'm amazed at how much I've learned since I joined. I'm done.

BTW, there's a pretty good writeup in the latest edition of Diesel Power magazine on the Snow Performance W/M injection system.

Just be careful or you might end up like me with no life, single, and broke because your passion for your truck overtakes everything else in life.
