smarty settings

why do everbody use the odd # setting on a smarty insted of the even # ?

The odd numbers add timing the even do not. A little extra timing usually improves your fuel milage. The even numbers are best for stacking with modules that add timing like the juice or tst.

Exactly. I run SW# 5, gave me a 3-4 mpg increase.

Dangit, maybe I need to turn mine down then, I currently run on 9 with the tst on 2 pressure and I see no increase, but I do not drive it easily, I am known for leaving darkness behind me.

Does anyone know if the MP-8 adds timing or just pressure and boost fooling? Also has anyone stacked the MP-8 with the Smarty, if so what setting can you get away with?
