SMARTY Setting....
I am picking up my truck today from getting a TC/BI and 5"MBRP put in, and I am wondering what level on the SMARTY I can safely run???? I am under the impression that I can run Wild #9 all the time and it should be good....any thoughts????
I already have a VB and an Air Dog installed......
Also is it a good time to break out the 4.2 and give it a whirl????

My opinion only...you'll get all kinds on this topic....
I think with a TC, VB, BI...the only thing you're missing is an aftermarket flexplate (maybe need a few of the common smaller trans parts...like shift lever, 2nd gear band....comparatively cheap stuff)....if you're going to go ape on the boosted launches, then probably an output shaft as well....if your rich, let's go intermediate shaft as well....
See my sig....been running beta 4.4 (level 9) for approx a year / 20k miles....not concerned....done a few boosted launches (<12psi)....in general, don't drive like an agro maniac....
Who's TC, VB, BI? Might want to ask the parts provider / installer their opinion....my DTT guy (Fred Swanson in Arizona) said go for it...no worries.
Sure, a full billet, $8k trans would be better, but unless your middle name is "punisher", you sled pull or track race on a daily basis...you'll be fine if you add the flex plate (and maybe a few of the small things)

Did you not real the first post all the way? He's got a TC, VB, BI...not being a jerk, serious question...hell, i ran level 3 on a stock trans for quite a while....MADS even condones level 3 on a stock auto (w/o boosted launches of course)
Thanks for the responses. Yes, I already have a Goerend Valve Body, a Suncoast Billet imput shaft, and a Spec-Rite Converter. When I got the Valve Body put in I had the Goerend, Anchor, lever and all other Goerend valve body parts. All I don't have is a full billet trans, or upgraded clutches....
I just picked it up from the shop, and this thing rocks!!!!

To update everyone on what I do have now....
Goerend VB
Goerend strut kit and anchor lever
Spec-Rite Steel Stator Triple Disk Carbon Fiber Converter
High Energy Bands
Suncoast Billet Imput Shaft
SMARTY 4.11 Mod TM on lvl 9
I am like a fricking kid swimming in the chocolate river at ***** Wonka's!!!!
