Smarty and Quad XZT installed!!!

First off I don't have the gauges in yet so I didn't floor it yet. I put the Smarty on first at level 3 and took a trip to the store to get a USB cable. Wow! I have to say I love the Smarty! It really woke up the truck. After getting back from the store I put on the XZT (pressure only). This increased the already strong bottom end of the power curve. I took the Smarty in and updated in with mild torque management. Installed it on level 5 with the XZT. This feels really good. Took it out on the interstate and it takes nothing to get up to 75mph. It doesn't smoke as much as I though it would, but I haven't put it to the floor yet. For good all around power this is a good combo. I don't know what boost I'm running or egt's, but I will tomorrow.

let the tc lock at around 45 and roll into the throttle..itll smoke. once you get comfortable with it, youll be able to make it smoke on demand.

how long does it take you to update you smarty programmer...mines takes 45-60 mins...im not in love with that

I think I'm going to get the Quad rail gauge with the fuel pressure option to find out. This is a great stack. Very smooth and driveable, but violent when you want it to be.

I'm seriously thinking about the same stack. I allready have the XZT, & I'll do the Smarty, & a turbo. Just haven't decided on which turbo yet. Let us know what your gauges say when you get them in.

Well the gauges are in and I know what I'm running now. My egt's will get well above 1500 if I'm not careful. Boost peaked about 38psi for right now. I didn't get to do a full throttle run from a dead stop since it's raining out right now. Anything below 45-50 mph and anything more than 3/4 throttle and the tires would break loose. Definately not complaining about that! I need a bigger turbo now. I really need to do the tranny first though. I need more money.

What level was the Smarty on when you were testing? Did the temp rocket up to 1500 when you punched it,or did it take a bit? Any load in the back?

Smarty level 5. About 65-70mph the egts would really start to climb. by 80-85mph they were at 1500.
