quad 65hp xzt box and smarty jr-

is anybody running this combo? I have the XZT in the glovebox right now.

how does the extra pressure from the XZT do with the SW3 tune on smarty jr (which doesn't add pressurem, correct)?

(i have asked something like this before, but the thread got offtracked and i can't find it)

I wouldnt hesistate to run that stack. I used to run it a while ago and it doesnt feel much different than my Quad X2 stack. The low end power becomes more available and probably the most recognizable, also there is some more mid/top end grunt...

I run it from time to time. I got tired of going to stock and removing the XZT when I was out of town, just in case Mama had to take it to a dealer for any reason.
I've stopped pluming the XZT back in, even though it's all under the hood just because it's a pain, but long story short, I don't notice any differance w/o it.

I had my XZT programed for pressure only and run the Smarty JR on whatever I need at the time. Lately for towing.
I haven't loaded the POD yet.

Thank You, May I ask how many pounds you tow and your EGT's?
Also looks like your transmission is stock, am I correct.

I just swapped out from a TT to a 5th wheel. It is certified just over 11K empty and we have ALOT stuff in it.
My EGTs cruzin, w/o the XZT hooked up sat around 7/800. I've seen it get up to about 1100, but only for a few moments.
I drive about 65mph when towing.
I have noticed that with the Cool Blue tube and a aftermarket airhorn, it brathes better and cools down quick.
This last time towing was about a month ago now, and coming thru the COLD storms in SC/NC, when pulling into a rest stop, by the time I stop, the EGTs are already cool enought to shut down with not problems. I still let her run a few minutes before I do shut it down.
