Smarty/Quad Stackers....what lvls are you running?
Ive got the 305/555 04 HO motor, and was wondering what levels you guys are seeing the best numbers/times with.
Ive got stock injectors/headstuds/springs and Im running the beta 4.4. Im not so sure what to run the X2 on.
Right now Ive got the original quad race and I ran Smarty on 4.4 lvl 9 and Quad Race lvl 2, but I dont think its a good idea to run that much timing. The Quad box is going in the mail tomorrow to upgrade to the X2, but I need to know what the best levels are for drag racing, and/or driving around town for smooth speed?

Sent mine off and got it upgraded also. RP, boost, coolant temp is excellent on the pod. Since installing the smarty i run the pressure only std. tune and leave it on level 0 most of the time. Tried level 2 once and it works great. Just smokes a bit when starting off. I would sell it but I like the features of the pod. Don't have enough LP to run it higher. It drags the lp pressure down a good bit with the Smarty on level 7.

I run pressure only on 3 or 4 for max HP, Smarty stays on #9 (4.3) WOT stays at around 24500-25500psi w/ my mods. Driving around I leave the Quad on 1 or off. Even 1 makes 1000+ psi difference.

With Smarty 4.11, I would run level 9 and the Quad Pressure only tune on level 0 or 1 for everyday driving (zero is probably better for just cruising) and whenever I really wanted to get on it I would bump it up to 1 or 2. I believe the beta 4.4 adds a lil pressure, so I'd keep on eye on that rail pressure guage so your're not blowing the relieve valve.

I guess thats for full on get down, but what about if you wanted to mix the two with some adjustability where when you wanted you still had good power?
Im thinking like Smarty 4.4 on lvl 3 or 5....then maybe cruise around on lvl 2 ....and 3 for getting down?

Oh, I gotcha, you're looking for on-the-fly adjustability using the Quad but with the Smarty still in the mix. Try downloading the Quad stacker tune. Put the Smarty on the level that you like for everyday driving, then mess around with the different settings on the Quad. As soon as the Smarty Revo software is released, this should be a great stack cuz you'll be able to fine tune things a bit more! Sorry I don't have any first-hand experience with this. I'm curious to hear your results though!
