Never tried the #0, never really thought it would do any good on mine. I need a little agressive fueling down low to get the SPS66 spinning. I do run #2 with the TST on 2/0 and EZ on 1. That does get me good mileage for my truck.

I am getting around 15.5+mpg all city stop and go and 19-20+mpg on highway at 75+mph. For my truck that is very good, used to be 13mpg city and 16.5mpg highway at best.

i cant believe more people dont use this mode, especially with gas prices!

Does half power means it cuts the HP in half? if so wouldnt i see like 25+mpg?

i do believe for all intensive purposes that the smarty level #0 is only for heavily modified trucks that need to pass emissions tests. It is not made for running around on the street. Hopefully marco will chime in an give an answer if i'm wrong.

The amount of power required to keep your truck at xxmph is a fixed number. It doesn't matter if you have a motor rated/tuned at 200hp or 500hp, it will still take xxxhp to maintain a given speed, so in theory it would not make a change in MPG's.

The improvements in mileage provided by tuners/modules is done by providing that hp more efficiently by altering the fuel injection system, which typically means an increase in max hp/tq to get better mileage.

1/2 half is NOT designed as a fuel economy software. It is designed as a valet switch for heavily modded trucks.

Will there ever be a fuel economy switch for stock trucks?
I would buy a Smarty today if one is coming.

I loaded up SW#0 today and drove through town and up a 7% grade roughly a mile long at the edge of town. It seemed to hold it in gear longer or something it shifted about 2800-2900. I hit the bottom at about 40 and floored it the whole way up; maxed at 65 near the top and 19psi and 900degrees. So I turned around and put it back to stock for a comparison and hit about 75-80 and let out 1/2-3/4 up 28psi and 1200degrees. Then loaded SW#1 (never ran it before) and had it at 80 easy and around 1300degrees when I let out. I didnt try it in my normally-loaded SW#9...so yeah I bet its pretty close to half power and theres no way it would be an economy setting cause youd have it floored all the time
