I don't notice a huge difference between 5.08 and 5.09. The truck sure runs smooth and lots of bottom end torque. I sure notice a lot more wastgate noise since i put my S&B CAI on though. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the tune or not. Anyone else notice more noise with the S&B and Smarty ?

tune has nothing to do with sound, just your s&b

I just went on their website to download 5.09 and i noticed it is now 5.10. Seems to work well. I'm not sure what the difference is though.

in the news it said communicatino problem solved whatever that is, i dont know everytime i load it it always says on my dash "no can bus" or "can bus error" something like that, not sure but smarty still works

I guess they had some communication issues in some special situations on certain trucks which they have resolved. If yours works like it should then you don't have the issue according to Mads.

maybe this will fix mine... i tried deleting some dtc's yesterday and it was telling me "communication error" or something along those lines

my truck always says "no can buss" whenever im programming it. had me worried, but the truck always starts up and runs after the programming.

yeah it doesn't feel any different so it must of just been a fix for communication problems, cause i ran it all the way up to pa today with the 5.10 and it feels exactly the same as before, which i guess is a good thing
