Ok so I have a 06 5.9 looking for better mpg and more hp. I was wanting to get a Jr. to save money, I heard they did a bunch of updates what all changed do they not blow any smoke anymore? Make less power? Or what someone please chime in and help me before I buy something I regret

You ask that like it's a bad thing?
Minimal haze under hard acceleration is probably a good term. Clean under most circumstances.
All the tuners have worked hard to clean up the exhaust. It's not a bad thing, less smoke = more mileage, better performance and less scrutiny by the powers that be.
If you want to black out the sky I'm sure there's an inexpensive mod you can do to achieve that but you'll have to do some reading to find it.

I was one of the first to get the Smarty Sr. for the G-56. The initial tunes were pretty smokey. MADS cleaned them up heaps. Smarty does enable tire size re-calibrating. EFI doesn't have that feature but the performance improvement is well worth it.
With your Can Bus system a recalibration with anyone's Smarty will remain when you set it back to stock. I didn't gain any mpg increase from EFI.
Realistically, if you can score a used Smarty Jr. or Sr you can always go for an EFI Autocal in the future if desired. Anarchy provided mine and helped me with the loading.

My brother has efi on his duramax and it's nice if someone pisses you off to switch straight to smoke tune then back to race or mileage but does someone know the highest horse setup like sw3 but what's the best tm and tq I want to know the setup and he best mileage setup cause that's how I drive all out or mileage
