Smarty Jr for 2005

I am thinking about adding a Smarty Jr. What is everybody’s take on it? Any problems? I have heard about some issues with smoke, anyone else? What kind of mileage gains are you seeing? What level are you running? Any issues with stock components mainly auto transmission?
Thanks,
D

run one on my 05... no issues. i run one of the beta sw's so smoke is minimal. it kinda gives you better mileage, i havent drove it with the new somftware on a decent trip yet, but i am this weekend. mix of city/hw im getting like 16-17mpg. ive only had it on the sw1, 40 hp setting since i bought it. i havent felt the need to bump it up any since the 40 hp gives it enough pep. as far as damage to stock compnonents- none that i have read. im not too worried about my tranny as its a built goerend, but i ran my smarty s-04 on 90hp all the time on my stock tranny. never had a problem. its all in how you drive it my friend..

overall for what it is and what it does, its not bad. i like its ability to read codes and stuff like that. it does almost everything my other smarty did.

I love mine... the smoke issue is almost a non issue as Bob/Marco have the best customer service, period...

I highly highly doubt you would regret it...

no issues on mine. i got a noticeable bump in mpg. i avg 19.5 now hand calculated/speedo adjusted using gps. i have the smokey version but found the smoke to be controllable, so no complaints from me.

70 and 100 horse setting slip my clutch.

its a great product. im very happy.

i did have a smarty at one time but sold it for some odd reason and bought a smarty jr. about 2 weeks ago. I like it dont get me wrong, but to me it just seems like the regular smarty on 60hp had more power than the smarty jr. on the 70hp tune......
