Yes, increase in boost will help lower the EGTs. 1100 degrees during a WOT run. Boost at 32 psi.

So Eric, you finally got one! You do need some gauges so we can see what's going on. You might not need a boost elbow, I was able to get 30-31 psi w/ my stock turbo. I'm not sure how diff you granny shifters are w/ building boost.
