You'll be OK as long as you keep it to short bursts. Just don't lay into it for too long and make sure to keep the RPM's up. Lugging it up a hill in OD at 1600 RPM can get it REAL toasty.

Awesome, thanks guys.

I'm pretty impressed with it already and I haven't put it on my truck. I mean the nice little case, good instructions and Bob even sent me a candy bar!!!

What else could you ask for!!

Just so lon as its not the beta versions you should be ok. If you have been on DTR for very long I am sure you know the do's and donts but get that commander on there asap when it comes in.

So he can monitor his parameters. Such as EGT, trans temp, FP, boost, etc.

If most see EGTS getting too high they will let off, but if you dont know your EGTs then you dont know when to back off.

Level 3, you'll be fine as long as you don't get stupid. Put it on 3 and give the programmer to the wife/girlfriend, make her keep it away from you, you will want more! Be strong! Come over to Round Rock, we'll drink some beers and I'll make it worse. I'll show you how the Beta 4.4 rolls!

Well I put it on level 3 and it has made a huge difference, the truck runs great has a lot better acceleration.

tcr, I for sure want to take a ride in that beast, looking forward to next weekend.

As for wanting more, your right, I already want to put level 9 on to see how it runs.

level 9 is pretty impressive. It will dyno about 460hp on a stock truck. I would wait until you get those gauges in there before you get too wild. I would say your stock clutch should handle around 100hp or maybe a little more on the street. when you want to dog it out and blow smoke its gonna be hard on the stock one. I know ive done it. when its slips really good you will know it. the smell that comes off it is horrible

Careful. I'm hearing some people are slipping the stock clutches on the G56 with level 5.
