Smarty #9 and timing rattle and HP

I got my Smarty to finally download the Smarty wild for stock injectors and aftermarket turbo. Which reminds me.... putting the turbo into the new truck was just as much a pain in the butt as the first time....

Anyway... what is the real difference between 8 and 9? It has added timing, but the HP are the same?

Whats the HP rating on the Wild download I mentioned above? Is it still the 170 as was loaded when I received it? I thought there was a download that compared to Crazy Larry?

Oh, so far I really like the smooth power over the BDTD.

Is the timing rattle anything to worry about? I've never heard it that bad before (and it was only at idle)

How much HP does the 8 & 9 CaTCHER have with the stock injector and aftermarket turbo have?

when you have a timing rattle, you cannot stack another timing module with it. too much timing will melt the pistons. you will not see an increased egt because with that advanced timing, the heat will all be in the cylinder, not really showing on the pyro.
i havent dyno'd #9, cause i am stacking with a quad race, so once again, too much timing.
wild with aftermarket inj and turbo, stacked with a quad will give you over 500/1000. dyno proven

with the smarty on odd numbers it will advance the timing. since you are already 2-4* advanced with the rokktech, you are basically hearing preignition like a gasser with low octane fuel.
i didnt feel anything, just made mine sound like a quiet 24valver. it never really did it under load, just when cold and light throttle.
it is gone now, even when stacked. but i dont run odd numbers when stacked.

Smarty does dynamic timming, rokktech does fixed / static timming....using both prob isnt a good idea....i'd just use the smarty on odd softwares...
