pre-turbo EGT and boost on the console (S.P.A dual digital), and the console has post-turbo EGT , 0-30,000 psi rail pressure , and right now my third console gauge is boost because sometimes I hook my SPA boost gauge up to a fuel pressure sender and read low side fuel pressure directly instead of boost.

I very nearly went for the Westachs. they are very good. Even visited their factory out in the middle of a vinyard in No. California wine country. But digital won out for me because of the external alarm, stored peak readings, and the universal nature of their pressure gauge (pressure of anything, from fuel to oil to air...)

cquestad, did I see on another thread that you will have two options for pillar mounts that keep the handle?

Do tell...

Scotty will be offering two guage mount options by the end of the month I think. One is the side by side pillar mount that I have discussed before and the other may hold up to three guages and is totally unique. I will let Scotty let the cat out of the bag when he sees fit. Really cool idea IMHO.

is it safe to say i can install the srt pillar with an EGT gauge, and add a tranny, or boost gauge to my A pillar at a later date?

If yes, then i will go ahead and do my EGT instal in the stock SRT pillar. and i will deal with the other ones later, as long as i dont have to replace the pillar again.

Thx

The side by side will be an adder piece to a SRT pillar...so go ahead and do the EGT in the SRT pillar.

I'm still waiting on the correct textured plastic.
I have done three prototypes of add a gauge molds and plan to have them at the thermoformer this week.
Once I determine which molds works best and needs the least tweaks to final production, I hope the plastic with the correct grain will be here and will have prices. Plus I/we have to determine what amount of plastic will be used per pod.

Thanks for brining the post back up...

Scotty was out of his shop last week and is back on the project now. He is fine tuning the molds and should have a picture ready soon. Just a little longer...

Sorry to string you all out like this, but we needed to find out if there was any interest in this project prior to having a complete finished item. However, the advantage to this is, you may have some say on the finishing touches.

Number of gauges, type of gauges (may be able to hold TST, Bully Dog, brake controllers)....etc.

Scotty will post his progress soon. Thanks for the patience!

Had the molds at the thermoformers last week.
Had some damage to the molds while thermoforming but its all good. I found I had too many negative angles and I have trimmed the molds somewhat. Now I have to fill and sand again, then test form again and hopefully I will be test fitting a final prototype next week.

I have two designs. One is a single add a pod for the SRT-10 and the other is a double. The double add a pod shows more promise so far. Getting the angles and the shape to compliment the RT-10 pillar is what I am working on right now.

It will definately be an add on but will look like a NICE add on.

Scotty

so your saying that i will have 3 gauges, and my grab handle? WOW! that sounds great. This ends my dillema of having to use one of them dual gauges. I dont care to much for them.

Keep us informed......we`re getting anxious

Yes...I will have a protype by the end of the week. Assuming all is well and Scotty likes the fit and install pictures, they will be released shortly. Scotty or I will be posting soon. Thanks!
