SB 3600 DD is in, have coulpe ?'s

Finally got the time to put this sucker in along with the hydro's!! I just have a couple questions, took our time and the install went great now i know the noise in neutral is normal but......

1. when i push in the pedal there is still a slight grinding noise, puts me in mind of the throw out bearing but its brand new, might be nothing but i have to ask what this noise might be, is this something that gose away with time(break in)?

2. with the truck turned off if i push in the pedal i can hear a clicking noise and i dose it when i let it back out, sounds like its comin from the bell housing area.... any idea what this might be?

I hope these are normal sounds and will go away after a few miles!

Thanks
Buddy

Mine makes noise no matter what, if the truck is runnin. The noise dose change a great deal though, with the truck in neutral pedal out, vs truck in nuetral pedal in.

The clicking noise is likely your clutch fork, throughout bearin and or pressure plate.

Not to be a smart a#$ but your clutch still enguages and disenguages with the truck running or shut down.

1. It's normal, been there done that. You are just disengaging the clutch too far with the hydro's.
2.As far as noise from master/slave and bell/fork area, thats normal for the most part. You are now working those parts with much pressure and they will squeak, click, and make odd noises sometimes. I greased up the area pedal pivots/connects to the master rod to reduce noise.

how you loving that extra clamping power? have any tires left? haha

Did you adjust your clutch pedal? I know after i left your house that night I have to adjust mine. The clutch wasn't fully disengaging. I doubt this is the type of noise your hearing but just putting it out there.

I haven't tried any of the betas yet. I'm just on wild torque man. right now. i'm afraid to put to much stress on my stock turbo. 2-3 months i should have the money for a turbo and some injectors. I want to get some goodies lined up and possibly come down.

glad you didn't have problems with your tranny. i don't want to know how much time we spent on mine....

Keep me update on pulls. Trucks up north on the farm for the summer so no pullin for me but i wouldn't mind see some.

If your master rod is adjustable then I would adjust to where you feel the most comfortable. Just don't give up too much because then you won't be disengaging enough.
