Does your SBC 3600 DD make more noise while pushing the clutch in rather than the chatter while it's out. A loud screeching noise like the throwout bearing is bad? I called Peter and asked him and he said its normal. I was just wondering if anyone else has this. I love the clutch all the way until this noise makes me look like my trucks about to fall apart.

 

Its the sound of the friction plates rubbing against the floating center plate.

You bought a mans clutch for sure. Shrug off the noise and laugh at all who don't understand.

I live in an apartment building. All my neighbors came out on their decks the first few times I came home and backed into my car port.

 

hahahaha . Its definately a mans clutch. They say different trucks make different sounds. just glad im not the only one with this noise. . 1 month later and I could have gotten a spring loaded.

 

Peter and myself are still in the working stage of this spring style clutch set. Hope to have it done soon.
