safe smarty setting???

hey with my truck as is with just an intake. what is a safe setting for everyday driving? Im worried about my stock tranny not handling the HP and torque. Also is it not possible to change on the fly with the smarty? does this give bully dog an advantage?

If you have an 48re, sw3 (60hp) will be your limit for normal driving, you can run sw5 but you will have to be light-footed. The 6spd can handle sw5 (90-100hp) from the factory. It is not adj on the fly, but the programs are so refined you will find it much more desirable than the Bullydog right now.

With the Revo tune can I leave tq mang. on 2 can I turn my sw settings up past 3? I'm trying to play around and see where I can get the best fuel economy.

I have been running SW#9 since I got mine, had no problems. I just keep my foot out of the throttle except when really needed, i.e., passing, accelerating on a highway on-ramp. Have had no problems, tranny is doing fine. I am a conservative drive, just typical day-to-day, dailt driver with some hauling.
I run sw#9, timing #4, love tthe sensitive, immediate throttle response, no lag!

im seeing my best mileage with sw5, tq management 2, timing 4. i changed the tq to 3 and timing to 2 and my accurately inaccurate overhead dropped 2 mpgs in less than a day.

Maybe I will bump mine up to 5 and see how my mpgs do. I don't have the coin for a tranny yet so I would hate to kill it..
