S+B air filter
A buddy of mine is getting ready to replace his intake. I tried to talk him into a Scotty, with no luck. Has anybody ever used, or heard of S+B filters? Looking for some feedback. http://www.sbfilters.com/

Yes I have it. I like it better than my Scotty III and my AEM Dryflow system and the BHAF. I added the ramair kit to the bottom and alternate between the S&B filter and the Dryflow filter. They both are so close in performance (Monitoring the gauges) that I can't tell which one is better. Check my picture gallery for some pictures of it installed.

Looks just like a Volant to me.
I'm not sure I'd run it unless you could fit an AFE PG7 in there. I don't think any other oiled filter elements work as well except maybe a Scotty with the Uni filter.

The S&B is an 8 ply cotton gauze w/oil. I've had it in for several months. I just switched back to the dryflow. I ran a nice white paper towel down the air tube. Clean as a whistle. So it appears the oil filter is working. I'm not a fan of any oiled filter. Apparently neither is Dodge or Cummins.

SO FAR SO GOOD , RUNNING CLEAN, TURBO IN A LITTLE FASTER THAN STOCK BOX WITH AIRAID DROP IN. NOW RUNNING THE S&B AIR BOX WITH
CUSTOM AIR PICK TUBE THAT SETS BEHIND THE INTAKE OF SRT-10 HOOD
AND DUMPS IN-COMING AIR RIGHT INTO THE S&B AIR BOX.
2004 ,2500 QUADCAB HO 4X4, KORE PACE, TOP GUN CUSTOMZ DUAL SHOCKS
