Anyone know where to get diamond tread aluminum rocker panels? I've seen them in recent years, in both chrome and black, but can't seem to find them now that I want a set. I've checked DeeZee, Lund, and some others but so far no luck. They all have the smooth chrome ones... I want some that are a bit more rugged than those.

Any takers?

 

You can have them made...or make them yourself. Thinner gauge diamond plate, a plasma, grinder, and some 3M adhesive tape and/or screws. Done deal!

 

Or just get your rocker panels Line-X'ed or Rhino'ed.

 

I've built several sets on an individual basis and have them on my own truck. I have a pattern for your truck already. I use real aluminum diamondplate, not the fake pressed treadbrite. I also recommend drilling and riveting so that they stay tight to the truck panel. You can always drill out the rivets and re-rivet if any get loose. I also like my rockers to be functional as well as look good. These will take quite a hit before they dent; the whole panel would probably cave in first.
