The fact that you didn't even notice that it was a different person who pointed out that the information was already there makes me wonder about your reading skills and your attention to detail. remind me who you work for, 'cause I'm pretty sure I don't want to buy anything you have designed.

So, when I see you ranting and demanding that WACTD admit his error, I can't help but think: "talk about the pot calling the kettle black, eh?"

cheers.

This post was before any of your MAdfrog Replies...So why don't you stick to yourself, you didn't even reply before me. He edited the post before you even replied jackA$$.....Trust me stick to yourself and you will live a more willingful life.....And what kind of truck do you drive again...Think about it before you reply and stick your foot in your own mouth, Quote MadFrog "I wouldn't buy something you designed". You might just be looking at a portion of it in your own truck and have no clue that I just might have designed it..

I myself have everything set up already using Infinity Kappa 6x9's up front and Polk DB6500s in the rear powered by an Alpine 75x4 V12 and the Deck is an Alpine 9855. Oh subs, custom box two 10" MTX Thunder 7000's that you can't even find anymore, **** those are good speakers, wish they still made them, hooked up in mono to 500 watt V12 alpine. NOW THAT SOUNDS GOOD!!!!

For anyone else who wants to try to fit the Infinity Kappa 6x9's up front you do have to do some weaseling to get them to fit, but it is worth it.

WAP,

Yes, two of the 10435 kits was enough for all four doors. I covered everything, if it was bare metal I covered it and I still had a little leftover. I would also get the heavy duty roller 10007, makes install easier. Also, a heat gun helps make the Dynamat more pliable, which makes for easier install. One thing, just check for clearance of moving parts, windows, door handle mechanism and all the bolt holes and the holes for the door panel hangers.

Dood, I bet you post up on the Rogue forums as well.

I have replaced all my factory sound as well, and it was well worth the money spent. It sounds so much better than the stocker infinity stuff. Nothing crazy, just a good sounding system, I love it!!

alternate sound deading material

If you go to your local roofing supply house you can buy heavy mill ice and water sheild that is a peel and stick type product. This will have the same properties as Dynamat at 1/10 the cost. Additionaly make sure when you install the speakers you caulk them in with an acuastical sealant. I used ureathane caulk. You want to lower your ressonance frequency for better sound. Bi amping the door speakers and using them as base units is very interesting, use long throw 6 or 7 inch units with an inclosed box at the bottom of the door with the mid and tweeter mounted higher. By the way Pioneer makes a din and 1/2 unit that fit the factory opening without an adapter. I have that unit in both of my trucks.

I have a '06 and just checked crutchfield. They give me speakers from 5.25 6.5 for the front and 6.5 in the rear. That is no where close to the 6x9 and 5.5 the first poster intalled. What gives?

One of the Crutchfield sales droids also suggested I put 6.5's in the front instead of the factory 6x9's. They will include an adapter that will make it work. However, I wasn't thrilled with the specs of the 6.5's they were recommending. Their website also gives a fit list for a wide range of other speakers, including several 6x9's, that will fit the 3500's front doors. Check again, or call them and talk directly to them about it, insisting that you want 6x9's in the front (and 6.5's in the rear).
