Recommendations on Gauges and Exhaust

Now that I have ordered my truck, I would like your recommendations on what gauge and exhaust products are working well on the 3rd Gen trucks.

I am using Autometers and a Bullydog aluminzed exhaust on my Ford, but I'm thinking I'm going to go stainless on this truck. I like the Autometers, but have heard good things about Isspros. Any preferences one way or the other, and who are the recommended vendors.

Thanks.

Subject to personal opinion of course, but I have heard a lot of the exhausts that are available for our trucks and I don't like them. I purchased a full 4" Diamond Eye system and cut the muffler out after only 4 days. I ended up going with a Donaldson muffler...sounds perfect: http://shop.airflowonline.com/Mercha...egory_Code=EIO

On the gauges, if you want to go with a box, the Edge box will come with a really nifty digital gauge. Other than that, the X-Monitor digital gauge. Some folks like the round gauges on their pillar, but not me. I like the smaller, compact digital ones. It is all personal tastes. Enjoy!

Mod Suggestions

Wexman,

We offer aluminized, T-409 and T-304 stainless steel systems for you to choose from. We have dual exhaust systems too for a real "special" look too! Also available is the full line of Auto Meter and DiPricol gauges and mounts. Lots of folks like the DI's as they have a white faced gauge that matches the factory gauges real closely. Call us with any questions etc you might have.

We have Banks and Silverline T-304 polished SS exhaust in duals and and single exhaust. If you want to tune the exhaust a little we also have the Aeroturbine which can be added to any SS system or complete Aeroturbine kits. For the gauges Di-Pricol made specifically for the new Dodge with pillar mount.

While you are at it, you might also look at our Turbo Air Guide (TAG) to increase turbo spool up and reduce smoke.

I have the MBRP Stainless duals on my dually. I love the sound, and the big tips are a real eye catcher.

Those DiProcol gauges are the shizznit, man! Look very cool - that's probably what I'll be doing.

Now, I have to decide on the exhaust. Definitely going stainless, just have to decide which company.

wexman,

We can put together some really great pricing on gauge and exhaust packages and will soon have the Edge and Banks power modules as well.

Take a look at my guages in my photo gallery on pg. 2. I have the X-Monitor and I'm very pleased with choice I made.

I must admit the analog type guages are alot cooler looking but the X-Monitor has some cool features like not having to cut out your grab handle, High limit alarms and memory for the highs on each run.

Checkout my pics, they show the exhaust quite well. It is an easy install. All the hangers go into stock location. If you order the MBRP one, make sure to get the longer muffler. It does away with the drone that some other kits have.

Too many choices!

JT, your duals are very nice looking, especially on the dually.

exhaust

Hey There,

I have to be honest and say I like the exhaust note on the Hemi. Do any of you know what system I would have to get, to achieve a similar result on the Cummins 600? What does the MBRP exhaust sound like? How about the factory exhaust with a Magnaflow muffler replacement?? Thanks for all responses.

James
