Rail pressure/Smarty
Tunning my truck with the new Twins,Not sure I fully understand the funtion of smarty and rail pressure,Can someone please explain how this should work ??
Also i notice At idle my rail pressure is around 750,at wot it stays consistant at 25,000, is this right ??

More timing advance = more fuel
More duaration = more fuel
More pressure= more fuel
Of course with more fuel you need more air and that is what you have with twins. Idle should read about 7500PSI. 25000 is ok for sudden burst /wot but for daily driving try to keep under 17000.

It's my understanding that the the increase in RP numbers on the Smarty don't increase overall or max pressure much, but as the number go up, the RP will ramp up quicker with less throttle. Like on setting #1, RP at 20% throttle would be 10K, but at setting #3 RP at 20% throttle would be 15K. Those aren't actual numbers I've observed, just used as an example.
