Positive the box is throwing codes?

10K foot is high, really high! Lots of stuff changes at that altitude.

Can you do the key trick and see what codes you are getting?

i live at 8500 ft, no problems,
when i take the truck to, 10k feet, breckenridge it throws a code everytime cel comes on.

it usually throws the code when i start the truck after having been at altitude for a while, a few starts and sometimes it will clear, sometimes not,

with the box off running stock it doesn't throw codes so i am assuming it is the programming in the box. it never codes with the box off the truck

0069 is the one in the system regulary, but i have seen a few others

That is a MAP sensor/Baro correlation code.

It is definitely the altitide. Let me do some checking and see if I can fix that.

WE must be doing something to the MAP and at that altitude it is too much.

When I ran across colorado hwy 160 I hit elivation of 10900 with the xzt I had at the time and it was fine truck seemed a little lugged down but I'd exspect that.
Also since I'm here Quad my cb interfears even with it potted and under the hood. Only thing with it under the hood the control pod wire aren't long enough. So you got any suggestion for interfear. I tried pm but geuss it didn't work no big. Also my standard box started just after startup get a real quick 100rpm rev once or twice that normal seems to be fine other wise.

Sorry rockhound not tring to jack your thead

Mine does this also, right after start up. Runs perfectly though.

The little fluctuation at start up idle is normal. It basically takes a couple of milliseconds for the box to start working. During startup on some trucks it will make it jump just a bit when you start it. SHould not affect anything. It is usually on cold starts as well.

Cool quad thats what I was thinking. Like 06megacabman said the xzt did it too but I had it so shortly wasn't sure. 06 how you like it so far?
Also quad any suggestion on RF issue with cb if not I'll keep working my brain.
The only thing I notice is my boost is not as much as the xzt was xzt gave me 36-38max standard is 32-34 no biggy is still gits up and moves, also smoke is alot less too with standard.

Love it. Been working great so far. Had the 1-2 shift TSB done the other day at the dealer and took it off before taking it in. Doing exactly what I wanted it to do.
