Help my truck is dead and throwing codes!!

Does any one know what these codes mean, this is the order that they came up...PPCU, P1693, PDONE, PDONE, PECU, P0216, PDONE ..My truck started idleing rough the other day and gradually got worse, then today I got maybe 2 miles away from home and it let out a quick backfire and died I let it sit for about 20min and then it started back up. So I immediatly thought that it was the lift pump so I put a new one on and same problem, the one thing that I am noticing is before when you first turn the key to wait to start normally you would hear the lift pump run for about 15 to 20 seconds but now it is only on for maybe 1 second. Any ideas, I am affraid to take it into the dealer with all these mods I got on it. Thanks, Mike

PPCU, P1693, PDONE,
means the PCM sees an error in a companion module
PDONE,
PECU, P0216, PDONE
theis is the ECM reporting a timing error of the VP44.

Seems that you are in the market for a new inj. pump.

Re:Help my truck is dead and throwing codes!!

The pump will throw the timing code if the Crankshaft Position Sensor is not functioning properly. I would check that first, and make sure it is clean and working. If that is not the problem, then you are looking at the injection pump.

If you have been running hard in hot weather, then I would suspect the injection pump is history for lack of cooling fuel supply unless you have 1/2" fuel feed lines to the lift pump.

Thanks guy's I really appreciate the help. I took my truck to the dealer today and hopefully I will catch them in a really good mood and they cover this under warranty, they have been pretty good in the past. Mike
