Quad Standard Box

Hello everybody. This is my first post but I have been reading on here for years. I've got a question. Will the clutch and fuel pump in a 07 handle the quad standard box with no other mods except an intake and straight pipe?
This is with stock tires on a 3500 srw. Thanks in advance! Tony

Yes as long as you don't run the 100hp all of the time and then beat on it. I have been running the standard box on the 60hp for almost a year now (w/stock auto). No problems. On occasions the 100hp. On wot the fuel pressure will drop to almost 0 but that appears to be normal for 04.5trucks. So you should not have a problem. What a difference towing with the extra 60hp. Gauges will be needed soon. But I found that as long as I didn't step to deep into the pedal the egts were slightly better than stock. It seems I don't have to push as hard on the pedal with the extra horses.

Sorry I should have mentioned gauges in the mods. I just wonder if the 100 hp is more than the clutch will take.

I agree w/ NB64. I rarely use the 100hp setting because the truck just feels strange when I get into it for too long. It's either running out of fuel or the clutch is giving out, or both. My fuel guage never drops below 7 or 8 psi though. Mine has gotten the best mileage readings so far on the 60hp setting. What a huge difference in power that 60hp setting makes...
I just towed 2400 miles mostly on the 60hp setting. All I can say is WOW!!!! My EGTs did not get any better though while running the box....

Dodgezilla have you tried just the box with your turbo and no extra timming from the rokktech? Wonder if the timming is making it act funny?
