I just reiceved my PS62 turbo but I dont think that it is what I ordered. I ordered a 62/12 which I think is a PS6270CR. I opened the box and the tag on the turbo says 6280 3rd Gen which I think is a 62/14 is this correct?
I use this truck every day for work usually with Juice on 3 and EZ on 1 and I occasionally turn everything up when I am feeling a little frisky. Should I send this turbo back or will I be able to spool this turbo fine?

 

I have a PS6280 and the Juice with attidtude on an 05 and like it allot. It is a little slower spooling but not to noticable. I usually run around on 3 and pull my 12k trailer on level 2.

 

have i got a deal for you. i have a 62/12 phatshaft on my truck right now, but i run a pressure box and a diablosport, and it spools super fast but i can push past the wastegate when it shifts to od. it's set at 40 psi but with stuff turned up and the extra load of od it goes up to about 50 psi. put yours on and see if you like it, if not we can switch exhaust hsgs, if you want. mine has only about 400 kms on it. i would just try it though, you migh like it
