just about to start installing headrest monitors and dvd player when another option hit me. playstation slim only requires 8.5 volt dc. haven't looked hard but i assume it has an inverter for ac indoor use. anybody ever hardwired one i a car or truck. did it take road vibrations ok. any other advise.

I had an XBox that we put in my sister's Tahoe for a while & it worked great for trips.

 

you shouldnt have any problem installing that, you can get an individual inverter that would be plenty for like 50 bucks. and you shouldnt have to worry about vibrations unless your trying to use it offroading or something! other then that it should be fine.

 

It will be fine, my buddy had one in his dodge, and it had 22'' of lift and was running on 44'' boggers. He never had any problems out of his.
