Mine is still going strong and I agree about in being the best mod to the truck!

 

Awesome... Thanks for the write-up and the pictures... My 06 came as a Base model, and the Cargo light does not turn on with the alarm that I added to the truck. So I'll have to figure that part out first. Last question - I plan on adding some lights under the mirrors like one of the other fellas did. Where do i add the 3rd output for this add'l Lighting??

i think they call them puddle lights! on the GM's

You would want to come off the relay with a 3rd leg,
and put diodes on it also

and fuse it so if something shorts out, it dont hurt nothing else.
