buddy's Suburban is programmable by the Odometer display.

when you unlock with the remote,
it turns (if you set up by Odo) on the Back up lights, fog lights and interior lights.

a real nice safety factor.

our dodge trucks turn on the bed light & interior light.

just wondering if the Triple Dog or anything can set our trucks up to do this?

be nice when messing with trailer in dark,
when wife drives,
when at mall,
when the dog barks at odd hours.

just a lot of times it would be nice/neat/a lifesaver

Chevy has had that feature for nearly two years (along with the nice lights under the rear view mirrors). That probably means Dodge will have it by 08.

My mom's 2000 suburban had that feature, along with the lights under the rear view mirror. It was really nice. Funny thing though is that her 03 Dmax doesn't have the lights under the mirros anymore but still has the perimeter lighting.

Our alarms flash the park lights, which with the fog lights switch on also flashes them. It also has options for dome light control. They are aftermarket.

the new trucks don't have a separate Fog light Switch FWIW.

sounds like a few well placed relays and an aftermarket alarm will upgrade my 04 Dodge to Y2K GM truck status, eh?
