pacbrake and OBA

Ok, where's a good place to mount the compressor and air tank?

Compressor used to mount on top of motor that's the new on there it lays sideways on top of motor. They usually send the brackets or did. That's the best brake you can buy.Put the tank under the bed.

WOW....It's sure changed since I did mine!
Not sure where you can place that thing.
If you look under the bed of the truck bed just ahead of the driver side tire, there may be room there.
That's where I have my HD compressor.

That photo is showing two different kits, Vair with 200psi compressor and tank and the pacbrake kit without compressor.

Ahh, got it!
My PB has little resemblance to the original configuration it came in.
My next mod will be a big tank.

That sure looks familiar, I just did the exact setup as that. I mounted the tank to a piece of 6 inch channel which is bolted thru the bed and a mounting plate that holds the compressor. All this is in the pass side front corner of the bed.

I haven't installed my pac brake yet, but I don't want to mount the compressor on top of the motor if I can avoid it. I'm concerned about vibration damaging the compressor over time. I was looking for other locations, or possibly a larger compressor (the ARB dual one maybe) back under the bed.

I put my compressor (Viair 350C)and tank on the left/outside frame below the doors, away from exh. heat. I made a tank out of 4" CPVC and end caps. I'm going to make another tank and put it on the right side. Craig
