Oh hahaha. I knew I was replying to an OOOOOOOOOOLD thread. I didn’t realize that. From what I’m seeing maybe just sticking with a CP3 on my 2007 5.9 is the way to go. If anyone has made a common rail a less electronic and more mechanical engine feel free to through in your 2 cents

I would think the easiest way to install a p-pumped 5.9 under the hood would be buy a complete P-pumped 12V and install it.
Then sell off the common rail motor.

If the truck was a manual, you would then have a more basic, mechanically controlled powertrain.
