So the CP3 must be the main injection pump right.

The service writer was talkin about the lift pump change that had been done but the mechanic must have ben talkin new high presure injection pump

04's have the CP3. Prior to '03 they used VP-44 injection pumps.

yes cp3's are better than vp-44's

 

'03's have the CP3 also, '98.5 to '02 used the VP44

 

Prior to means BEFORE. SO, when he said Prior to '03, he was saying BEFORE '03, not including '03, they used the VP44.
