Like many have said and will continue to say best thing I could have done to my truck was Dave's tranny. Besides the fact they have some of the best customer service you will ever find.

I've been playing with my Smarty since I had my Goerend installed. Slowly going up on it. Trying to give it 4 or 5 days between bumping it up on settings, to see how things work. Heck, the guys that I had install my tranny said turn the thing all the way up right from leaving the shop! I feel like a circus midget every time I show up at their shop! These guy's have some huge trucks! I still love to hear how they love my Carli suspension and my Goerend tranny compared to the cheap installs they have to do for customer requests ! I think I'll turn my Smarty all the way up in a day or so. I'll tell you this, at about 70 mph, I'm running at about 1825-1850 RPM's with 35" tires. When my Megacab was stock, the best mileage I had on a long trip was hand caculated at slightly over 21 mpg! I know I don't get this mileage now, but in early Aug., the wife and I are taking an almost 2000 mile trip one way, and the 2000 miles back home. We'll be passing by real close to thr Goerend shop in Iowa. I'll let you guys know my mileage results. In the mean time, I'll keep you informed about all the Power Jokes and DuraSmacks I may come along and smoke...
