Opinions on these upgrades

I have been looking around for a while and started talking to one of my friends who owns a garage. He talked to a company that suggested the following:

FASS fuel system
Edge with Attitude
AFE air intake system
AFE bladerunner charge air manifold
AFE cat back exhaust
AFE exhaust tip 4" to 5"

I have an 06 2500 quad cab, auto, 3.73 gears w/factory limited slip. I was wondering what everyone thouht of the suggestions. I am seriosly considering this. Also, what do you think of the price $3,900 for all parts and labor.

Forgot, one more thing. What are your thoughts on how long the factory tranny will hold if i drive sensilby?

Thanks for the input.

Exhaust isn't needed, you have a full 4", just replace with a higher flowing muffler.

The intake horn isn't really needed, will gain you a little power, but the Cold Air intake would help.

The Edge would be nice on your truck, but the Smarty would be even better!!!!

exhaust tip, at least a 6" would do.

basically, you would be spending alot of money for things that would give you modest gains.

This would start you off nice:

Airdog, GDP, or Fass fuel system
AFE CAI or *****'s Whistler (do-it-yourself kit)
SMARTY or Juice (your choice)
TRANNY WORK (TC/ VB Billet input and output shafts)

I'd skip the cat back exhaust and just do a muffler swap and tip.

$685 smarty
$520 moto blue 5" exhaust with tip - installed
$550 analog gauges with pod and installation
$400 intake of your choice - installed
$125 Glacier 2mk filter installed
$450 glacier lift pump kit installed

=$2730, which gives you $1200 to put towards the tranny mods you'll eventually be needing.
